Hello Current Clients,
We hope you are having a great week! We wanted to reach out to let you know of some changes we are making here at All Star over the next few weeks/month. COVID cases in Larimer country are on the rise and much of the state is getting closer to shut down levels, thankfully, we have been deemed a critical service this time around and are not anticipating a full shut down! In order to continue operations in the safest way possible we will begin using solo cleaning technicians instead of teams, whenever possible, as an added layer of protection because the fewer people our technicians come into contact with the safer it is for them and for you. Please note we have not had a single positive case of COVID within our company to date. We are choosing to take this next step out of an overabundance of caution and a commitment to operating in the most responsible manner possible.
Safety is the biggest contributing factor to this decision but in the process expenses will also be cut, offering us the opportunity to increase wages substantially. We have the best technicians around and All Star has always worked to provide the best wages possible for everyone on our team. This raise would be in addition to the benefits we will continue to provide that almost no other cleaning service in the area provides, including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a matching 401k plan. Our technicians work hard and care so much for our clients and this feels very good to be able to do this for them.
This is, of course, a major change to how our service runs and there are a couple of additional changes we will need to make.
-
Any home that currently takes longer than 2.5 hours with 2 people will still be cleaned by 2 people. We will be breaking up the service into two jobs (either by level or specific “sides” of the home) to continue reducing contact. These homes will be cleaned in the 9am time slot between two solos as often as possible. We’ll be in contact separately with any homes that are this size that are not already in the 9am time slot to talk about options!

Since our teams will not be coming to the office daily, we will not be able to keep the keys we have on file in the office. For all keys on file we would like to either have an alternate method of entry on file (garage code, door code, etc) or we would like to have a lock box placed at your home with a unique code for each home. You can provide this if you would like, or we can provide one at your next clean for a one time $10 fee. We would be getting outdoor safe, combination lock boxes that will go on the utility meters or railing (whichever is accessible). You would have the code for the lock box of course and the box would be yours if you ever need to end services, or if you would like to remove it between cleans.
-
For our clients that pay by check, we have kept this option for a long time but without coming to the office daily we would prefer for all checks to either be mailed in or we would like to put a card on file for future cleans.
We are hoping to extend this change over the course of 1-2 months but may need to make the change more abruptly if Larimer County escalates to a stay at home order. In that case we just ask for grace and understanding as we get our feet under us! We have run as a team based service for almost 15 years and we have not made this decision lightly, it is a big change, a change we feel REALLY good about!. Thank you so much for your continued support, we truly could not do this without you!
Best,
Laura, Ajia, and the All Star Team
